For the first time in two years I have a busy schedule of public gigs to look forward to 🙂

After my 2020 gigs were pretty much entirely wiped out due to Covid lockdowns and restrictions, my gigs during 2021 were also few and far between as the hospitality and live music industry struggled to get back on their feet.  Thankfully things look and feel much brighter for 2022 though 🙂

I am easing myself back in gently during the first couple of months of the year but as of April my diary is looking very healthy with gigs resuming in many of my regular venues in Inverness, Aviemore and across the north of Scotland.

All being well I will also perform my first overseas gigs since Covid when I head for the United States in July to appear at Dayton Celtic Festival in Ohio.  This will be my first ever performance in America so my fingers are crossed that all goes well regards obtaining my Visa and that there are no further travel restrictions due to the pandemic.

The highlight of my 2022 gigs here in Scotland will be The Lockdown Gigs Gathering in Inverness during September.  As many of you know The Lockdown Gigs on Facebook were what kept me singing and performing over the past two years.  So many of you joined and supported me online and so many great friendships have been made amongst The Lockdown Gigs followers so it will be wonderful to have everyone together in person for the first Lockdown Gigs Gathering!
